Tiny SKOT - Starfire Kids Of Tomorrow (18 months - 3 years)
For participation in the Tiny SKOT program, the following items are required:

  • Registration -  $12.50 per class, $125.00 based on a 10 week session
  • Membership - $30 annually

Please dress your child in comfortable clothes and athletic, tennis or indoor turf shoes and bring a water bottle.  NO OUTDOOR CLEATS! New players are welcome throughout the season. Class fees pro-rate weekly.

Tiny SKOT (18 months – 2 years) Parent/Child Class
A fun introduction to soccer for parents and children together.  We take a developmentally appropriate approach- playing movement games, learning colors, singing, and exploring in this soccer-play class.  Classes meet one day/week, 40 minutes.
Tiny SKOT II (24 months – 36 months) Parent/Child Class
The TINY II class is designed for any returning TINY students that have progressed from the previous class, and would like a new environment in which to continue their learning. The TINY II class provides young children the opportunity to expand their gross motor skills with a progressive focus on helping them make the connection between their thoughts and ideas to what’s going on in the world around them. A fun, safe, and non-competitive environment for parents and children to grow and play together. Classes meet one day/week, 40 minutes.


Fall Session: September 8- November 13 2010

New players are welcome throughout the season. Weekday and weekend classes available.
Class fees pro-rate weekly.

Little SKOT - Starfire Kids Of Tomorrow (3 - 4 years)

  • Membership - $30 annually

Little SKOT (3 – 4 years)
With an emphasis on balance and coordination, these young players will begin to explore basic soccer fundamentals through games and drills that enhance their foot-eye coordination.  Concepts of team-work are supported with cooperative games and paired play. Classes meet one day/week for 50 minutes.

Little SKOT II (3 – 4 years)
Young students in this stage will begin to refine their gross motor skills (communication and socialization) and cognitive learning (sorting and organizing objects) as well as begin learning some of the essential fundamentals for the game of soccer. Students will practice soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and shooting on a goal. To aid in your child’s social development this class will also begin focus on the team context combining children into team oriented activities including scrimmage games and relay activities.  Group activities encourage participation, cooperation amongst class mates, and helping students learn to sort their differences peacefully. Classes meet one day/week for 50 minutes.

Little SKOT III (3-4 years)
The advanced level is designed to prepare young athletes for more formal soccer games.   The class structure will have a skill building element for the first portion of the class and then a soccer game structure in form of a scrimmage. No score will be kept.  The coach on the field will be able to stop game play to explain and show concepts and strategy. This program is recommended for children who have participated in a SKOT I, II class, Micro or similar. Classes meet one day/week for 50 minutes

Junior SKOT - Starfire Kids Of Tomorrow (5 – 6 years)
For participation in the Junior SKOT program, the following items are required:

  • Registration - $14.50 per class- $145.00 based on a 10 week session 
  • Membership - $30 annually

This is a beginning soccer class.  Please dress your child in comfortable clothes and athletic, tennis or indoor turf shoes and bring a water bottle. Shin guards are required.  NO OUTDOOR SOCCER CLEATS! New players are welcome throughout the season. Class fees pro-rate weekly.

Junior SKOT (5 – 6 years)
In this class students will begin fine tuning their basic soccer fundamentals while working on their passing, trapping and dribbling skills. They are supported with opportunities to practice new and already mastered skills in an environment that encourages active team participation.  Technical instruction and social awareness guide our game play.  Classes meet one day/week, 50 minutes.
Junior SKOT II (5 – 6 years)
Students in this JUNIOR II class will continue to learn balance and coordination, health and fitness, as well as begin to work on the next stage of their soccer skill development providing a more technically challenging environment. This class will be divided into two components, the first focusing on instruction and learning while the latter component will provide students the opportunity for game play all while advancing their understanding of team-work. Students in this class are preparing for advanced soccer opportunities including Starfire league play. Classes meet one day/week, 50 minutes.
