Welcome to the Starfire Kids of Tomorrow (SKOT) coaches page!
The Starfire Kids of Tomorrow program offers a well-rounded coaching staff. We strive to provide coaches with a mix of soccer skills and early childhood development experience. We work to encourage every child's physical and cognitive development, while supporting their individual needs.
Coach Aleksandr Sever: Coach Aleksandr is the one making the kids balance a ball on their head and making them sing as they run. From soccer tricks to field manners, Coach Aleksandr makes sure the kids have fun and are learning skills at the same time. His experience as a referee and also his years playing in Seattle and Rio Rancho, New Mexico contribute to making him the great coach that he is.
Coach Kendal Sasso: Coach Kendal was born and raised in Milford, CT and was captain of her high school team and named all conference her senior year. She has traveled to Australia, New Zealand, England and Holland to play soccer. She graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2006 and was on the varsity soccer team from 2001-2005. Kendal is an avid soccer player and fan; she even has a cat named Beckham.
Coach Spike ( Nikolas Sever): Coach Spike is the current sophomore goal keeper for Pacific Lutheran University. He has been playing soccer since he was a wee lad of 4 years old and goalie since he was 14. He graduated from Kentridge High School with a 4 time varsity Letterman, and MVP in 2007 and 2008. He has trained with FIFA Certified Goal Keeping coaches and is working on his USSF Goal Keeping Coaching Certification. Coach Spike also has the best hair on the field.
